This week is #27 of the regular blocks (there have also been 10 patterns for the optional/extra blocks). There's one more week to go, and I have started setting my blocks into rows, with 2.5" sashing (of the background fabric), to get ready for finishing it up!
This block took four 9.5" x 2 3/4" strips, sewed 2 3/4" squares on each side and sewed them altogether. It was a quick sew, and turned out well because I had four strips of the print fabric that were perfect sizes for the blocks.
On the Facebook Group, I saw someone had done 4 of the smaller size, and pivoted them when joining them, so a pinwheel formed the center. It was really cute, and if I decide later that I need more blocks, that will definitely be an option to consider!
Thanks for stopping by!
