On the Lake

Keeping up with our "there is a lake in Duluth?" series, today found us on board the Vista Star (part of the Vista Fleet) on a Duluth harbor cruise for about 1.5 hours. It was a gorgeous day... 83 degrees, and not super sunny while out on the water, which saved us from the sun but didn't diminish our fun at all.

The trip went through the lift bridge, and up the cost a ways, and then back around the harbor, through the bridge again, and then almost to the Superior harbor exit. It was a great trip, and we really had a good time!

Our boat left at 12:25 and returned by 1:40 pm. It went through the lift bridge and up the north shore, and then back through the bridge and around the inner harbor. The narration was great, we learned a ton of things along the way that were really interesting to hear and fun facts to know about Duluth and the harbor.

Here are some fun photos from the trip! The buildings on the bottom row were our hotel (Sheraton Duluth) on the right, and the wedding venue, GreySalon on the left.

Getting out on the water was definitely a highlight of our weekend away!

Thanks for stopping by!
