January in review

January started out with required home isolation, and lots of time on my hand. My new longarm machine was also delivered on New Year's Eve, so it was a month of figuring out how to get the equipment set up, tested, and ready to learn.

Below is a summary of what I accomplished in January.

Quilting:

  1. Started and finished the Mad Hatter's Tea Party quilt top (A Tula Pink kit)

  2. Finished the binding on the Sassy Spools Wall Hanging

  3. Started and finished the Lockport Illusions Lap Quilt

  4. Set up the longarm machine and frame

  5. Started practicing with scrap fabric

Canning & Cooking:

  1. New recipe for Better than Takeout Fried Rice

  2. Beef Stew with leftover prime rib

Fun Things

  1. Completed the Christmas Star Wars puzzle (mostly it was my husband's success!)

  2. Started & Completed a fun White Cloud National Park puzzle

House & Cleaning Projects

That's it for January! Thanks for stopping by!
