On our final morning here, this trip, the fog returned, and blocked all views of the bridge and canal. But even that can't keep us from trying some of the amazing, farm to table, local and organic breakfasts this town has to offer!
Our first stop for breakfast this weekend was the Duluth Grill. We got on the digital waiting list from our hotel (in 27th place) and had moved up to 16th place when we got to the restaurant. We got an immediate table, inside, and ordered breakfast.

It turns out that Duluth has a great breakfast game!
We discussed the Duluth Grill (and that amazing Banana Cream Parfait) with two friends from book club at the wedding on Saturday night, and they both tried it out on Sunday and agreed the restaurant and the parfait were amazing.

My husband ordered a meaty omelet and continues to describe it as the best omelet he's every had. The eggs were thin and tender and crepe-like, and the meat inside meant business... but chunks of meat and slices of bacon. Completely delicious and well worth the price tag!
Meanwhile, we went to At Sara's Table at the Chester Creek Cafe. It was our third trip there, and we have really enjoyed their organic farm to table options, great service, and funky decor. Myt personal favorite is their biscuits and chorizo gravy:

While I've enjoyed this dish all three visits, this time was definitely the best. Those cherry tomatoes are fresh off the vine and full of delicious summer flavors. While I expected it to be very spicy, given the chorizo, it just has a savory and unique flavor. One of the best biscuits and gravy dishes I've ever had!
Thanks for stopping by!
