We picked up another peck of roma tomatoes at the Saint Mary's Thursday Farmer's market, and I set out to put more tomatoes up. This time, I'm going to use some of the celery I grew and can it with the tomatoes as a Ball "tomatoes and celery" pressure canning recipe.
With the rest of the tomatoes,I am going to can them as plain crushed tomatoes.
The tomatoes and celery should be a good addition to a savory meal (think stew or soup) and it's one of the few canning ways to use the celery when it is fresh!
