On our drive into Duluth for a wedding the following day, we started looking for a place to have dinner before checking in to our hotel.
Not having done our research, we drove toward the Duluth Grill (which is a breakfast-lunch place, as it turns out) and stumbled onto Clyde Ironworks We got a table on the lower level, and had a delightful dinner (so good, in fact, I even gave them a 5 star review on Yelp!).
During dinner, I noticed a private event sign at the bottom of the stairwell to the upper level. I asked wait staff, and yes, they confirmed there were 2 grooms' dinners booked on the property for last night but didn't have any details.
When I was texting the bride's mom today, to wish her good luck, she confirmed that was their party upstairs last night. What a funny coincidence!
